이번엔 부엉이 소리를 듣고 신호를 잭이 먼저 알아채렸네요.
애니는 이미 자고 있었으니.. 몰랐네요.
잭이 애니를 흔들어..(=stir) 깨웁니다.
그러자 눈 깜짝할 사이에 (=In a split second) 벌떡 일어나게 되고
달에 갈때 처럼 한밤중에 파자마를 입고 매트하로 향합니다.
역시 그곳엔 모건 할머니가 있었네요~!
이번엔 북극의 툰드라 지방으로 가서 마지막 수수께끼를 풀러 갑니다.
파자마 바람에 얼어죽지 않을까요?
모건 할머니께서 누군가 보낸다고 하니.. 그가 아마 바다표범 사냥꾼(=seal hunter) 인가보군요~!

그리고 곰이 날 수 있다는 황당한? 이야기를 듣게 됩니다.
하긴 모건에 관련된 얘기도 별 게으치 않다보니
잭은 그가 곰이 날 수 있다고도 생각할 수 있겠죠.
그리고 애니가 잠깐 밖에 나간사이 비명소리가 들려오네요.

그러다 갑자기 갈라지는 땅.. 알고보니.. 잭과 애니는 아주 얇은 얼음위에 있었네요.
이 와중에 애기곰의 엄마가 나타납니다.
그리고 곰이 무거운데도 불구하고 얼음위를 누워서 조금씩 이동하게 되는데
잭은 이걸 따라하면서 날고 있다는 착각을 하게되네요 ^^
